Lettering Requirements
Students looking to letter during the regular competition season must complete ALL of the following:
- Register with FIRST robotics by September 30th
- Do two hours of volunteering at FreeGeek (School Presentations DO NO count this year)
- Sign up for 50 hours to work on the robot
- Work 50 hours on the robot (Being present and not working on the robot does not count!)
- Attend the Eagan Week Zero event or Duluth Regional Competition
- Be in good standing with the school (Academics, Suspensions)
- Complete safety training on Jan 4, 2020 from Safety Captain and return a signed safety contract
- Pay activity fee of $80 by Oct 18, 2019 or $100 by Nov 21, 2019 or $120 by Dec 20, 2019
- The team must have a competition level robot for the Week Zero event at Eagan High School
- Assist with the shop clean-up on March 17 and March 15 from 3:15-4:30pm
- Parents of students are required to do two (2) of the following volunteer activities over the course of the season:
- Sign-up and help supervise the shop for three hours
- Sign-up and provide breakfast or lunch on a Saturday for the team
- Assist in securing additional funding for the team from a corporate sponsor
